After Dinner Conversation Features
A Philosopher’s Take
If you are involved in philosophy (maybe you’re a professor, grad student, or a philosophy major), After Dinner Conversation would like to feature you on our Substack. For this, you would answer the five discussion questions at the end of a story of your choosing. To get a PDF review copy of one of our themed editions, simply email me, then send along:
Your answers to the questions at the end of the story of your choosing. (Sometimes there are more than five questions; it’s not necessary to answer every single one. Pick the questions that inspire you!)
The story title, magazine month and year (or edition theme).
A photo.
A brief bio written in the 3rd person with your full name.
Any promotional links you would like for me to include. This is a good time to promote a book discount to ADC’s 23K+ subscribers. Simple works best.
Please include “Philosopher’s Take” in the subject line of your email.
ADC Author Q&A*
If you are the author of a short story published in After Dinner Conversation and would like to be profiled in the ADC Substack newsletter, please email me the following:
Your answers to 3-5 of the following interview questions (below). Check for spelling and typos before sending.
The link to your story on Amazon or another book retailer.
An author photo.
A brief bio written in 3rd person with your full name (or pen name).
Any promotional links you would like for me to include, along with any photos (if applicable). This is a good time to promote a book discount to ADC’s 16K+ subscribers. Simple works best.
Please include “ADC Interview” in the subject line of your email.
*If you have a philosophical story published elsewhere, you can apply to be interviewed by sending me a link to your story (novel or short story).
(Email me at tforsee at gmail). If your story is selected, I’ll let you know. At that point you can simply follow the steps above. If you’re not sure if your story is “philosophical”, this might give you some idea:
I’m hoping these interviews will be interesting and educational for our subscribers.
There is no set deadline since these interviews will be ongoing.
